All the engineering fields of studies are accredited by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI), which means that graduates of the Częstochowa University of Technology can be awarded the title "European engineer". At our University, as at the majority of European Union higher education institutions, students are evaluated with the use of a credit system. This allows students to study in foreign academic centres by taking advantage of opportunities to participate in European programmes, including the 7th Framework Programme, the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the LLP-ERASMUS educational programme. Students can expand their passion for science and develop their interests by joining one of the 48 scientific circles and 11 student organizations (AIESEC, Forum Business Centre Club, "EMAUS", IAESTE – The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience). Students benefit from the activities of the Academic Sports Association. They can participate in any one of the 13 active sports sections.
European Faculty of Engineering
is an educational unit offering students the opportunity to study in English. The aim of EFE is to educate future engineers who, while gaining technical knowledge, will develop a mastery of technical and business English. The teaching staff of EFE consists of academic teachers from the University who have experience in the field of international cooperation and invited lecturers from partner universities. EFE has adopted modern methods of studies, adjusted to student needs:

  • all the lectures, practical activities and projects are taught in English
  • education is carried out through individual programmes of study with one to one tutor/student supervision
  • one semester within the framework of EFE studies is a "mobility" which means that students must attend one of the European universities cooperating with Częstochowa University of Technology
  • a one-year industrial placement at a foreign institution is also offered to students after the fourth year of study. The costs are covered by European funds.

The first place I’ll go back

At Częstochowa University of Technology I've worked with friendly and helpful people on a very interesting project. I was actually writing my MSc thesis and thanks to the help of all my colleagues I managed to get good results. I really enjoyed being in Częstochowa. Whenever we went out with some other people from ERASMUS we would meet many Polish and we got along with them very well. But of course, partying wasn’t all I did, I tried to travel as much as I could and discover the country which was totally unknown to me. So I went to visit many wonderful cities like Warszawa, Krakow, Wroclaw, and many others. I want to go back and discover more of this country so maybe one day we'll meet there in Czestochowa. I think it's the first place I'll return because I made so many friends there.
